When to use
Once or twice daily after cleansing and toner/essence.

AM or PM – Serum step

1. Prep your skin
   Cleanse, then apply your hydrating toner or essence.
   Skin should be slightly damp or just freshly dried (not bone dry).
   
2. Apply the serum
   Pump or drop 1–2 pumps into clean hands.
   Gently spread over the face, focusing on areas with dark spots, post-acne marks, or uneven tone (cheeks, forehead, upper lip, jawline).
   Avoid the immediate eye area.
   
3. Massage & absorb
   Use gentle, upward strokes and light pressing motions for 30–60 seconds until absorbed.
   You can add a little extra directly onto stubborn marks and tap in with fingertips.
   
4. Seal it in
   Follow with a moisturiser to lock in hydration and keep the barrier happy.
   
5. Daytime = SPF non-negotiable
   In the morning, always follow with a broad-spectrum SPF 30–50 as your last step.
   No sunscreen = no point in treating dark spots, as UV will keep triggering them.

Tips to get the most out of it

• Introduce slowly if you’re reactive: once a day, then build to twice daily if your skin is happy.
  
• Can be safely paired with many actives, but if you’re using strong acids or retinoids, alternate nights or layer with a barrier cream to minimise irritation.
  
• Take progress photos every 4 weeks in the same lighting – pigmentation improvements are gradual and easier to spot this way.
  

Patch-test first. Brightening serums are active: dab a little behind your ear or on your jawline and wait 24 hours before full use.
