AM & PM – Moisturiser step

1. Prep your skin
   Cleanse, then follow with toner/essence and serum.
   Skin should be slightly damp or just freshly dried (not bone dry) for best absorption.
   
2. Apply the cream
   Start with a pea to chickpea-size amount for the whole face (add a little more for neck).
   Warm it between your fingertips, then press and glide over face and neck.
   Focus on areas that feel tight, flaky or over-treated (cheeks, around the mouth, sides of nose).
   
3. Massage technique
   Use upward, slow strokes from centre of face outwards.
   Spend 30–60 seconds gently massaging to help the ceramides and lipids melt into the skin.
   For very dry spots, tap a second thin layer like a balm over those areas.
   
4. AM finishing step
   In the morning, always follow with a broad-spectrum SPF as your final step.
   
5. PM barrier treat
   At night, you can use it alone or layered over a hydrating serum as a barrier-repair night cream.
   

Tips to get the most out of it

• On retinoid or exfoliation nights, apply Ceramidin as your final “hug” for the skin to minimise dryness and tightness.
  
• In winter or when the heating is on, try sandwiching actives: thin layer of Ceramidin → actives → another thin layer of Ceramidin.
  
• Great as a neck and chest cream too – those areas often show dryness and creping first.
  

Patch-test first. Every skin is different – dab a little behind your ear or on your jawline and wait 24 hours before full use.

5-Cera Complex (Ceramide NP, NG, NS, AS, AP)
Skin-identical lipids that naturally occur in the skin barrier. Together with cholesterol and fatty acids, they help seal in moisture, reduce transepidermal water loss and support a strong, resilient barrier.

Cholesterol
Another key skin-identical lipid that works in synergy with ceramides to keep the barrier flexible and intact, especially helpful when skin is dry, sensitised or over-exfoliated.

Panthenol (Pro-Vitamin B5)
Soothing, humectant ingredient that helps attract and hold water in the skin while calming feelings of tightness or irritation.

Glycerin
A classic, skin-identical humectant that draws water into the outer layers of the skin, helping it feel plump, hydrated and more elastic.

Shea Butter (Butyrospermum Parkii)
