I have become a big fan of Purito over the past couple of years, so I was very interested to try this serum. I do have a problem with uneven skin tone which is why I bought this product.

I was a little stunned as it looks like there has been gold glitter tipped into the serum but now I understand that it is encapsulated retinal.

The bottle makes it very easy to apply a few drops to the face and I find it best to do that directly as it is runny and more like a water in consistency and not very thick. The serum is very quickly absorbed and provides a good base before applying moisturiser and make-up.

I have started slowly with this and will only apply a few times a week which seems to be working well for me and always wear SPF to protect the new skin. The bottle is a good size and will last me months so I think the price is justified.

How to use

How to Start

• Start 2–3 nights per week for the first 5–7 days.
• If skin tolerates well, increase to every other night.
• Once comfortable, you can use it nightly.
• Avoid mixing with strong acids or other retinoids in the same routine.

How to Apply

• Cleanse and tone.
• Apply 1–2 pumps to face and neck.
• Let it absorb fully.
• Follow with a nourishing moisturiser.
• AM: Always use SPF (non-negotiable with retinal and brightening actives).

Safety Notes

• A mild tingling or warmth is normal during the first uses.
• If you experience irritation, reduce frequency or add extra moisturiser.
• Avoid applying on broken or inflamed skin.
• Not recommended for use during pregnancy (retinoids).
• Do not combine with other retinoids, benzoyl peroxide or strong acids in the same routine.

Patch-test first. Retinal is powerful — apply a small amount behind your ear or on your jawline and wait 24 hours before full use.
