How strong is the retinal?

Beauty of Joseon do not publish a retinal percentage for this serum, so we don't quote one. Treat it as you would any retinoid: start a few evenings a week, build up slowly, and wear sunscreen every day.

My eye area is sensitive. Can I use it?

It depends on your skin. It contains retinal, and Beauty of Joseon note that some people feel stinging. Start with one pump a few evenings a week, and if it stings, apply it over a moisturising cream. If your eye area reacts easily, Knours One Perfect Firming + Plumping Eye Cream has no retinoid.

Can I use it in the morning?

Yes. Beauty of Joseon say it suits morning and evening. We suggest starting in the evening only, and if you do use it in the morning, finish with sunscreen.

Can I use it alongside my retinol or retinal face serum?

Not on the same area on the same night. Keep your face retinoid off the eye area on nights you use this, and avoid AHA, BHA or PHA products around the eyes.

I take vitamin A supplements. Is that a problem?

The box notes that if you already get vitamin A from food or supplements, using this product adds to that and could lead to overexposure. If you take vitamin A supplements, check with your pharmacist or doctor before adding it.

Can I use it while pregnant or breastfeeding?
