How to use

Use as the last step of your evening routine. Biodance suggest keeping the layers underneath light, such as toner and serum, so the sheet sits closely.
Peel off the protective film and place the two halves: the top half over the eyes and forehead, the lower half around the chin and jaw. Press gently so it sits closely.
Leave it on for at least 3 hours, or overnight.
Peel it off once it has turned transparent.
Don't rinse. Pat any leftover essence into your skin, and in the morning carry on with your usual routine and sunscreen.
Biodance suggest two to three times a week. Patch test first if your skin is sensitive.

Is this a firming mask?

We choose it as a hydration mask. The box lists firming among its claims, but what it is designed to do is hydrate, so skin looks smoother and dewier the next morning. We don't promise lasting firming.

How much collagen is in it?

Our box lists collagen extract at 52,000 ppb, which is 0.0052%. It is one ingredient in a hydrating blend led by water, glycerin and the gel-forming ingredients, with niacinamide fourth, so we see this as a hydration mask first rather than a collagen treatment.

Do I really need to leave it on for hours?

Yes, that is how it is designed. Our box says at least 3 hours or overnight, and to peel it off once it turns transparent. If you want a 20-minute mask, Hue Calm Cica Soothing Mask is the shorter option.

Should I wash my face after?

No. Biodance say not to rinse. Pat any leftover essence in and carry on with your routine.
