  • Cleanse, then apply toner and a light serum; the mask goes on as the last step.
  • Place the two halves on clean skin and press gently so the gel sits flat.
  • Leave it on overnight, or for 3 to 4 hours by day until it turns transparent, as Biodance direct.
  • Peel off and pat any leftover essence into the skin. After an overnight wear, follow with sunscreen in the morning.
  • Patch test first if your skin is reactive: it contains rose flower water and several plant extracts.

Can I sleep in it?

Yes. Biodance design it to be worn overnight as the last step of your routine. If you prefer daytime use, leave it on for 3 to 4 hours, until the gel turns transparent.

Is it good for oily or blemish-prone skin?

It is made for oily and combination skin that still feels dehydrated: it hydrates without richness, and Biodance say the kelp and sea water help rebalance oil and water. It is not a blemish treatment and contains no blemish-targeting active, so keep your usual blemish care in your routine.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?

It can be. There is no added fragrance listed, no exfoliating acids and no retinoid, and Biodance say it has been skin-irritation tested. It does contain rose flower water and several plant extracts (neem, pear, melon, ivy, iris), so patch test first if your skin reacts easily.

Will it be enough for very dry skin?

Probably not on its own. It is the lighter mask in our Biodance range. For very dry skin, Hydro Cera-nol Real Deep Mask is richer.
