Is this an exfoliant?

It is a hydrating essence first. Mixsoon describe the pomegranate ferment as a source of AHA, and our box gives an optional exfoliating use where you massage it in and rinse it off. No acid percentage is stated, so treat it as a mild smoothing step, not a replacement for a dedicated acid toner.

Can sensitive skin use it?

It depends on your skin. Mixsoon list sensitive skin, the ingredient list is short, and there is no fragrance or alcohol, as Mixsoon state. The massage method is the part to go easy on if exfoliation tends to sensitise you. Patch test first.

I have a soy allergy. Can I use it?

We would not recommend it. Fermented soybean extract is the key ingredient, listed fourth on our box.

Can I use it in the morning under sunscreen?

Will it suit oily skin?
