The simple version

1. After cleansing and toning, dispense 1–2 pumps into your palm 
2. Gently pat or press into your face and neck — don't rub
3. Allow 30-60 seconds for full absorption
4. Follow with moisturiser (and SPF in the morning)

Pro tips for best results

• Pat, don't rub — Pressing the serum in with your palms or fingertips helps it absorb faster and deeper. Rubbing can waste product and cause pilling 
• Apply to slightly damp skin — After toner, your skin should be damp but not wet. This helps the hyaluronic acid and glycerin pull moisture in more effectively
• Don't over-pump — 1-2 pumps is plenty for face and neck. More product won't give better results; it just sits on top
• Layer smartly — This serum is lightweight enough to layer under a richer serum if you want extra anti-aging or hydration benefits

Extra tips for maximum glow

• Overnight mask trick — At night, apply a slightly thicker layer (2-3 pumps) and skip moisturiser. Use it as a sleeping mask once or twice a week for an extra hydration + brightening boost 
• Target stubborn spots — For old dark spots or deep pigmentation, dab an extra half-pump directly onto the spot after applying to your whole face. Let it absorb before moisturiser
• Pair with gentle exfoliation — If you use a gentle exfoliant (PHA, low % AHA) 1-2 nights a week, use this serum after it. The niacinamide will help calm and repair while the brighter works 
• Consistency is everything — Dark spots take time (4+ weeks). Don't skip days. Morning and night, every day

What not to do

• Don't mix with other high-concentration niacinamide products (5% is enough; too much can irritate) 
• Don't layer with strong acids (AHAs/BHAs) at the same time unless your skin is very tolerant. Use acids at night and this serum morning + night, or alternate nights 
• Don't skip SPF — niacinamide brightens. SPF prevents new dark spots. They work as a team

A note for sensitive skin
If your skin is reactive, start slow: every other night for the first week. Once comfortable, move to twice daily .

Before using this serum on your full face, patch test first.

Apply a small amount behind your ear or along your jawline. Wait 24 hours. If you notice any redness, itching, or irritation, do not use it on your face.

This is especially important if:

• You have sensitive or reactive skin
• You're new to niacinamide at this concentration (5%)
• You're currently using other active ingredients (retinal, exfoliating acids, vitamin C)

A patch test takes 30 seconds. Dealing with a skin reaction takes weeks. Worth it.
