How strong is it?

Some By Mi state 0.1% retinol, and the formula also contains retinal at an amount they don't state. For the thin skin around the eyes, treat it as a real retinoid product: start slowly, and expect lines and texture to change gradually rather than overnight.

Can sensitive skin use it?

It is not our default pick for sensitive skin. It contains retinol, retinal and fragrance, and the eye area is delicate. If you still want to try it, patch test first, start on two or three evenings a week, and use it less often or pause if it stings, flakes or reddens. Knours One Perfect Firming + Plumping Eye Cream has no retinoid.

Can I use it during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

It contains retinol and retinal, so we don't recommend it then without advice from your doctor or pharmacist.

Will it help dark circles?

It depends on why your under-eyes look dark. Niacinamide and glutathione are there for a brighter, more even-looking eye area, which helps when colour is part of the darkness. It will not fill shadows from hollows, and it is not a depuffing product.

Can I use it alongside my face retinoid?

Yes, as long as only one retinoid goes on the eye area. Keep your face retinoid off the eye area and use this there instead, rather than layering both. Don't add a second retinoid eye product.
