Comfort for skin that feels dry, tight or on edge.
Some days your skin just feels tight, whether it is the heating, the weather or a busy week. On those days you want a moisturiser that simply makes it feel comfortable again.
epii Double Up Cream Ectoin & Panthenol is a barrier-focused Korean moisturiser for dry, tight or stressed-feeling skin. It holds two creams in one tube: ectoin helps defend skin from everyday external stress, and panthenol helps reinforce the moisture barrier for lasting comfort.
-
Perfect for: dry, tight or sensitive-feeling skin, and retinoid or acid evenings
-
When: last step, morning and night
-
Key ingredients: ectoin, panthenol, squalane, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid
Why we chose it
Some moisturisers try to do everything. This one does one job well: comfort. epii pair ectoin with panthenol in a simple formula with no retinoid and no exfoliating acids, so it is an easy last step for almost any routine, and a kind one on nights you use stronger actives.
What it does
epii's own words for it: it hydrates and supports the look of a healthy skin moisture barrier. Both creams are built on panthenol, niacinamide and hyaluronic acid. The inner cream adds ectoin, an ingredient known for helping skin cope with dryness and environmental stress, with squalane for softness. The outer cream adds allantoin and betaine for moisture and comfort.
Best for
- Dry or tight-feeling skin
- Skin that feels stressed by weather, heating or a busy routine
- A comfortable last step on retinoid or acid evenings
- One moisturiser for morning and night
Not ideal if
- You avoid essential oils: it contains rosewood (Aniba rosodora) oil
- You avoid silicones: it contains vinyl dimethicone
Where it goes in your routine
The last step of your skincare, after toner and serum, morning and night. Before use, tap the tube lightly on your palm a few times. Squeeze from the centre of the tube and apply evenly across your face. In the morning, follow with sunscreen.
Pro tip: for a firming evening routine, use epii HPT6 Ultra Drop 10% after toner, let it absorb, then finish with Double Up Cream Ectoin & Panthenol. Want to work on dull or uneven-looking skin instead? Its sister cream is epii Double Up Cream NAD+ NMN & TXA.
Good to know
For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes and stop using it if irritation occurs. It contains rosewood oil, an essential oil, plus turmeric and neem extracts, so patch test first if your skin is reactive. Store the tube upright and use within 12 months of opening. Made in Korea. epii is a Korean brand from Seoul; the name blends 'epidermis' and 'individual'.
