100% authentic K‑beauty- Hand-picked by our founder
VT Cosmetics Reedle Shot 100 2-Step Mask pairs a sachet of Reedle Shot 100 (niacinamide, adenosine, centella) with a hydrating sheet mask containing ceramide NP, squalane and hyaluronic acid. It targets the look of rough texture and pores, then leaves skin feeling hydrated and soft.
What it does
Step 1 holds VT's CICA REEDLE particles, mineral-derived silica processed with centella extract. They give a light prickle and, VT say, help the next step absorb; it is a cosmetic step, not a microneedling treatment. The Step 2 sheet then hydrates and comforts with niacinamide, betaine and ceramide NP.
Why we chose it
It lets you try VT's daily-strength Reedle level for the price of a sheet mask before buying the full-size VT Reedle Shot 100.
Best for
- Rough-feeling or uneven texture
- The look of enlarged pores
- Dull, dehydrated skin that wants a glowy finish
- Trying Reedle Shot 100 once before buying the full-size bottle
Not ideal if
- You have a nut allergy: Step 1 contains macadamia seed oil and Step 2 contains shea butter
- You avoid bee or animal-derived ingredients: it contains propolis and hydrolysed collagen
- Your skin is broken, sunburnt or recently treated with a peel or laser: VT say wait until it has recovered. If you are new to Reedle Shot or your skin is sensitive or reactive, VT Mild Reedle Shot 50 is their gentlest level and the better place to start
Key ingredients
- CICA REEDLE (silica and centella extract): the prickling particles in Step 1
- Niacinamide: helps even the look of skin tone and supports the barrier
- Adenosine: a supporting ingredient for the look of fine lines
- Ceramide NP, cholesterol and phytosphingosine: help hold moisture in
Where it goes in your routine
Evenings, on clean, bare skin. Spread Step 1 over your face, avoiding the eyes and lips, and let it absorb. Apply the Step 2 sheet for 10 to 20 minutes, then pat in the leftover essence. Keep the rest of that evening simple and wear sunscreen next morning.
What to expect
A light prickle during Step 1 is normal; VT say redness, heat, dryness or itching can happen and vary by person. Skin should feel hydrated and softer afterwards. If discomfort persists, rinse it off.
Quick facts: 1.5 g Step 1 + 25 g sheet · Single use, PM · VT Cosmetics, made in Korea
- Use in the evening on clean, bare skin.
- Spread the Step 1 sachet over your face, avoiding the eyes and lips. A light prickle is expected.
- Once it has absorbed, apply the Step 2 sheet and leave it on for 10 to 20 minutes.
- Remove the sheet and pat in the leftover essence. If your skin is dry, follow with a simple moisturiser.
- Do not use it with LED masks or other skincare devices, on broken or sunburnt skin, or soon after a peel or laser.
- Patch test behind the ear or on the inner arm first if your skin is sensitive, and wear sunscreen the next morning.

Good to know
- Contains macadamia seed oil and shea butter (nut-derived)
- Contains propolis (bee-derived) and hydrolysed collagen (source not stated, usually animal-derived)
- Contains tea tree leaf extract; no fragrance in the listed ingredients
- No retinoid and no exfoliating acids
What is in the pack?
One single-use treatment in two parts: a 1.5 g sachet of Reedle Shot 100 (Step 1), then a 25 g hydrating sheet mask (Step 2) with niacinamide, betaine, ceramide NP and squalane. You apply Step 1, let it absorb, then put the sheet on.
Is it a good way to start with Reedle Shot?
It is a good way to try the 100 level once before buying a full-size bottle. If you are completely new to Reedle Shot, or your skin reacts easily, we would start with the milder VT Mild Reedle Shot 50 instead.
Is the prickling normal, and is this microneedling?
A light prickle during Step 1 is normal; VT say redness, heat, dryness or itching can happen and vary by person. It is a cosmetic product with fine spicule-like particles, not a microneedling treatment. If it burns or discomfort lasts, rinse it off with water.
Can sensitive skin use it?
We don't recommend it as a starting point for sensitive or reactive skin. The prickle is part of how Step 1 works, so it is not a calm step. If your skin is burning, peeling or recently treated, wait until it has recovered.
Does it contain nut, bee or animal-derived ingredients?
Yes. Step 1 contains macadamia seed oil and Step 2 contains shea butter, so it is not suitable if you have a nut allergy. It also contains propolis (bee-derived) and hydrolysed collagen, so it is not vegan.
Can I use it on a retinol or exfoliating acid night?
Our suggestion: no. Keep retinoids, exfoliating acids and other strong actives to a different evening, so you can tell how your skin handles the mask.
