How it works

What I look at
- Two products doing the same job.
- More than one product that exfoliates, such as acid toners, scrubs or peeling pads.
- Whether you have a sunscreen you'll wear every morning.
- The order you're using things in.

Why I'm doing this
After my trip to Seoul I tried everything. I over-exfoliated, over-cleansed and used products without understanding what was in them, until my sensitive skin stung. What fixed it wasn't another product. It was a shorter, simpler routine.
Black Friday is when it's easiest to buy things you don't need, so it's when a second opinion helps most.

Yes. You don't need to buy anything, now or later.
Will you only recommend your own products?
No. If you're missing something, I'll say what I'd choose. Often you'll already own something that does the job.
Is this medical advice?
No. I choose and sell skincare. I'm not a doctor or a dermatologist. For a skin condition, broken skin or anything that's getting worse, please speak to a pharmacist or your GP.
What happens to my photo and product list?
I only use them to reply to you, and I never post them or share your name. If you tick the box, your shelf can be counted in anonymous totals, such as how many shelves had two exfoliating products, so I can share what I learn.
