100% authentic K‑beauty- Hand-picked by our founder
Dr.Melaxin Cemenrete Calcium Volume Multi Balm is a 9 g balm stick with calcium carbonate, adenosine, collagen extract, hydrolysed elastin and plant oils. Swiped over expression lines, the under-eyes or dry patches, it cushions and softens the skin, so lines look smoother and dry areas feel comfortable.
What it does
The waxes and plant oils (meadowfoam, macadamia, olive, avocado and jojoba) do most of the work: they leave a thin, cushioning layer that reduces moisture loss where skin creases, which is why lines there look softer while it is on. Adenosine targets the look of fine lines. Calcium carbonate, collagen extract and hydrolysed elastin make up the brand's calcium volume care; they sit at the end of the ingredient list, so we see this as a cushioning balm first, not a calcium treatment.
Why we chose it
A stick is the easiest way to give small areas extra care, at home or on the go, without adding another cream to your whole face. It finishes, rather than replaces, your moisturiser or eye cream.
Best for
- Fine lines around the eyes and mouth
- Dry, creased areas that need a protective layer
- Small dry patches that need extra cushioning
- Portable care for your bag
Not ideal if
- You have a nut allergy: it contains macadamia seed oil and sweet almond fruit extract
- You avoid animal-derived ingredients: it contains hydrolysed elastin, plus collagen extract of unstated origin
- You want a full-face moisturiser: it is made for small areas
Key ingredients
- Calcium carbonate: the calcium in the brand's calcium volume care
- Adenosine: the look of fine lines
- Collagen extract and hydrolysed elastin: skin conditioning
- Meadowfoam, macadamia, olive, avocado and jojoba oils: softness
Texture and finish
A solid balm that softens on contact and leaves a thin, cushioned layer. A few light swipes are enough.
Where it goes in your routine
The last step, after moisturiser, morning or evening. Glide it over the eye area, lines around the mouth or other dry spots, as Dr.Melaxin direct, keeping it off the lash line. In the morning, let it settle before sunscreen.
What to expect
Treated areas feel softer and look smoother straight away. Any change in the look of fine lines is gradual and depends on regular use.
Quick facts: 9 g stick · Calcium, adenosine, plant oils · Contains nut oils · AM and PM · Dr.Melaxin, Korean brand
- Use it as the last skincare step, after moisturiser or eye cream. It sits on top of them; it does not replace them.
- Glide the stick over the eye area, lines around the mouth or other dry spots, as Dr.Melaxin direct. A few light swipes are enough; more just feels heavier.
- Keep it off the lash line and out of the eyes.
- In the morning, let it settle before sunscreen and makeup.
- On areas that get oily or congested easily, use it at night only, or skip those areas.
- It contains macadamia seed oil and sweet almond fruit extract, so avoid it if you have a nut allergy.

Good to know
- Contains macadamia seed oil and sweet almond fruit extract (nut-derived)
- Animal-derived: hydrolysed elastin; collagen extract of unstated origin
- No fragrance in the listed ingredients
- No retinoid and no exfoliating acids
Can it replace my moisturiser or eye cream?
No. It is made for small areas and works best on top of your usual moisturiser or eye cream, as a cushioning final layer.
Does it work on fine lines?
While it is on, the cushioning layer makes lines in dry, creased areas look softer. Adenosine is there for the look of fine lines with regular use. It will not change deeper lines or hollows.
Can I use it around the eyes?
Yes. Dr.Melaxin direct it for the eye area. Keep it off the lash line and out of the eyes.
Can I wear it under makeup?
Yes, in a thin layer, once it has settled. Reviews are mixed on how greasy it feels, so on the areas you will cover with makeup, one light swipe is a better start than several.
Is it suitable for oily skin?
It can be, because you only put it where you need it, such as under the eyes or on dry patches. Skip it on areas that get oily or congested easily.
Is it vegan?
No. It contains hydrolysed elastin, which is animal-derived, and collagen extract of unstated origin.
