It lifts away oil, dirt and dead surface cells for smoother, fresher-looking skin, with glycerin and betaine to help avoid dryness. It depends on your skin. Haruharu Wonder say it has completed clinical trials on sensitive skin, it is unscented, and the acids are at low levels in a rinse-off gel. It is still an exfoliating cleanser, so patch test first, and skip it when your skin is irritated or peeling. On those days, Black Rice Moisture 5.5 Soft Cleansing Gel is the better choice.

How strong are the acids?

Light. Our box gives each acid as 500 ppm, which is 0.05%, and the gel is rinsed off after about 30 seconds. Think of it as a mild daily boost for smoother-looking skin, not a replacement for a leave-on exfoliant.

Can I use it every day?

Once your skin is used to it, many people can use it once a day, morning or evening. If you are new to acids, start every other day. Skip it on days you use a retinoid or another strong exfoliant.

Will it remove makeup?

It lifts oil, dirt and light makeup. For full makeup or sunscreen, use a cleansing oil or balm first and follow with this.

Does it contain fragrance?

No. It is unscented, and our box states that Haruharu Wonder unscented products do not contain fragrances that may cause allergies.
