Should I shake it or not?

It depends on your skin and the finish you want. Unshaken, you mostly get the watery layer with aloe and botanical extracts, which suits oilier skin or a light refresh. Shaken, the jojoba oil and squalane mix in for a dewier finish that suits dry or flaky patches.

Can I use it as a setting spray over makeup?

Yes, that is one of its two jobs. It gives a dewy finish, not a matte one, so if you want to keep shine down this is not the mist for you.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?

It is not one we would recommend by default. Our box lists geranium oil (an essential oil) and the fragrance components citronellol, geraniol, linalool and citral. If your skin is reactive but you get on with essential oils, patch test first.

Does it have a scent?

It is not unscented: geranium oil and the fragrance components above are on our box. If you prefer a mist with no scent at all, choose something else.

Can it replace my moisturiser?

No. It is a light top-up layer. Use it on top of your usual moisturiser, or between steps, rather than instead of it.
