Is it suitable for sensitive skin?

It depends on your skin. SKIN1004 list sensitive skin, the box says it was skin irritation tested, and the mask is built to soothe irritation. It also contains tea tree leaf oil (an essential oil), 4-terpineol (a tea tree compound) and salicylic acid, which some reactive skin does not tolerate. Patch test first; if essential oils or acids bother you, choose the SKIN1004 Quick Calming Pad instead.

How much tea tree is in it?

Tea tree leaf water is listed second on our box, straight after water, and tea tree leaf oil appears much further down. SKIN1004 do not publish percentages, and listing order alone does not tell you the exact amount.

Is it an acne treatment?

No. It is a cosmetic clarifying mask for skin that looks shiny or congested and feels irritated around breakouts. If breakouts are persistent or painful, speak to a pharmacist or your GP.

How is it different from the Poremizing Clarifying Mask?

This one is built around tea tree and salicylic acid for oily, blemish-prone skin. The Poremizing Clarifying Mask uses four types of exfoliating acid with mineral salts for pores and rough texture. Both contain an essential oil (tea tree here, Japanese mint in the Poremizing mask).

Can I use it with retinal or other exfoliating acids?

On different evenings. It already contains salicylic acid, so adding another exfoliant or a retinoid on the same night mostly adds the chance of irritation.
