How long should I leave it on?

Not much. The Korean ingredient list on our pouch gives the aloe extract as 224 ppm, which is 0.0224% of the formula. We chose it as a simple hydrating mask with glycerin, panthenol, betaine and sodium hyaluronate, not as an aloe treatment.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?

The Face Shop describe it as gentle on sensitive skin, but it contains fragrance (with the allergens hexyl cinnamal and alpha-isomethyl ionone) and alcohol as the fifth ingredient. If your skin reacts to either, choose a fragrance-free option such as SKIN1004 Quick Calming Pad. If you usually get on with fragranced products, patch test first.

Can I use it after a day in the sun?

Only if your skin feels dry, not burnt. The pouch says not to apply it to broken, irritated or itchy skin, so skip it on sunburn.

Can oily skin use it?

It depends on your skin. The essence is light and water-type, so oily but dehydrated skin can usually use it, then follow with a light moisturiser. There is a little shea butter in it, so if you are very breakout-prone and avoid butters, check the list first.
