No. Medicube do not state how much PDRN (sodium DNA) or hydrolysed collagen it contains, so we don't sell it as a treatment for either. We chose it as a long-wear hydration mask: glycerin, niacinamide and panthenol are what we would point to.

Why does it change colour?

Medicube design the jelly to turn from pink to transparent as you wear it. It is a handy guide for daytime wear: once it has turned clear, or after 3 to 4 hours, you can take it off.

Can sensitive skin use it?

It depends on your skin. Fragrance is listed, so if fragrance tends to bother you, we would choose a fragrance-free hydrogel instead. If fragrance is usually fine for you, patch test first.

Does it contain animal-derived ingredients?

Yes. The sodium DNA comes from salmon, and it contains hydrolysed collagen.

Will it suit oily skin?

It can. It is a water-and-glycerin jelly rather than a rich cream, so it suits oily but dehydrated skin as an occasional top-up. If you dislike a dewy finish, the daytime option lets you moisturise lightly afterwards rather than sleeping in it.
