The product is as described. I have been using it for a couple of days so will wait to see the results. But I’m pleased with the process of buying the item. Quick delivery and good communication.
Neli
Medicube PDRN Pink Peptide Serum is a light pink serum built around PDRN (listed as sodium DNA), which Medicube describe as salmon-derived. Alongside it are niacinamide, adenosine, a blend of peptides and hyaluronic acid, for dull, tired-looking skin that wants more bounce and glow, and a smoother look over time.
What it does
This is a hydration and bounce serum first. PDRN, milt extract and salmon egg extract, all fish-derived, sit alongside hydrolysed collagen to hydrate and condition the skin. Niacinamide helps even tone and supports the barrier, adenosine and peptides are included for the look of fine lines, and ubiquinone (CoQ10) adds antioxidant support.
Why we chose it
It is a glow and bounce serum with no acids and no retinoid, so it sits easily beside stronger treatments. For the same line in a moisturiser, pair it with Medicube PDRN Pink Collagen Capsule Cream.
Best for
- Dull, tired-looking skin that wants glow
- Dehydrated skin that wants bounce
- The look of early fine lines
- A smooth, hydrated base before makeup
Not ideal if
- You avoid animal-derived ingredients: it contains milt extract, salmon egg extract, hydrolysed collagen and atelocollagen
- You avoid fragrance: fragrance is listed
- You want a targeted dark-spot treatment: a dedicated serum such as Anua Niacinamide 10 + TXA 4 suits that better
Key ingredients
- Sodium DNA (PDRN), milt extract and salmon egg extract: skin conditioning from fish-derived ingredients
- Niacinamide: evens tone and supports the barrier
- Adenosine and peptides, including acetyl hexapeptide-8 and copper tripeptide-1: the look of fine lines
- Hydrolysed collagen, atelocollagen and sodium hyaluronate: hydration and a smooth feel
- Ubiquinone (CoQ10): antioxidant support
Texture and finish
A light pink serum that spreads easily without a sticky feel. The pink tint comes from cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12).
Where it goes in your routine
After toner, before moisturiser, morning and evening. Pat a few drops over the face and neck. In the morning, finish with sunscreen.
What to expect
Skin should feel hydrated and look fresher straight away. Changes in smoothness and the look of fine lines are gradual and depend on steady daily use.

Good to know
- Animal-derived: milt extract, salmon egg extract, hydrolysed collagen, atelocollagen
- Contains fragrance
- No retinoid and no exfoliating acids
- Not suitable for vegans
What is PDRN, and is it from salmon?
PDRN appears in the ingredient list as sodium DNA, and Medicube describe it as salmon-derived. The formula also contains milt extract and salmon egg extract, plus hydrolysed collagen and atelocollagen. It is not suitable if you avoid animal-derived ingredients.
Does it contain fragrance?
Yes, fragrance is listed. Reviews we checked are mixed on how noticeable it is. If fragrance tends to irritate your skin, patch test first or choose an unscented serum.
Can I use it alongside retinal or exfoliating acids?
Yes. It has no acids and no retinoid of its own, so it sits easily beside stronger treatments. Keep it after toner and before moisturiser, and wear sunscreen daily.
Is it suitable for oily skin?
It can be, especially if your skin is oily but dehydrated: it is a light serum that spreads without a sticky feel. How it feels overall depends on what you layer over it.
Will it help with dark spots?
It is not a targeted dark-spot treatment. Niacinamide helps even tone, but if dark spots are your main concern, Anua Niacinamide 10 + TXA 4 suits that better.
