100% authentic K‑beauty- Hand-picked by our founder
Hue Calm Niacin Vita Snow Serum is a brightening serum with 3% niacinamide and 3,000 ppm (0.3%) of 3-O-ethyl ascorbic acid, a stable vitamin C derivative, plus ceramide NP and hyaluronic acid. It helps even out the look of dullness and dark marks, and leaves skin looking brighter and more radiant.
What it does
Niacinamide helps even the look of skin tone and supports the barrier. 3-O-ethyl ascorbic acid is a stable vitamin C derivative. Ceramide NP, cholesterol and phytosphingosine support the barrier, while glycerin and sodium hyaluronate keep skin hydrated.
Why we chose it
We chose it for dullness and uneven tone in a moderate, hydrating formula, not as a strong dark-spot treatment: 3% niacinamide is a modest amount, and the vitamin C comes as a stable derivative at 0.3%.
Best for
- Dull, tired-looking skin
- Dark marks and uneven tone
- Sensitive skin that dislikes pure vitamin C
- A brightening step that also hydrates
- Morning routines under sunscreen
Not ideal if
- You have a nut allergy: it contains shea butter
- You want a stronger dark-spot serum: the actives here are modest; Anua Niacinamide 10 + TXA 4 Serum is more concentrated
- You already use a vitamin C serum: this contains a vitamin C derivative, so you do not need both
Key ingredients
- Niacinamide 3%: tone and barrier support
- 3-O-ethyl ascorbic acid (3,000 ppm, 0.3%): brightness and antioxidant care
- Ceramide NP, cholesterol and phytosphingosine: barrier support
- Sodium hyaluronate and glycerin: hydration
- Bakuchiol, galactomyces and sea buckthorn: supporting ingredients, not the reason to choose it
Where it goes in your routine
After toner, before moisturiser, morning and evening. Apply an even layer over face and neck and let it absorb, then add a second layer to areas that need more care, as the box suggests. If your skin is sensitive, start once a day. Finish with sunscreen every morning.
What to expect
Skin should feel hydrated straight away. Brightness builds with daily use, while the look of dark marks and uneven tone softens gradually. Daily sunscreen matters as much as the serum.
Quick facts: 30 ml · Niacinamide 3%, vitamin C derivative 3,000 ppm (0.3%) · AM and PM · Hue Calm, Korean brand
- Use after toner, morning and evening, as the box directs.
- Apply an even layer over face and neck and let it absorb before the next step.
- For dark marks or areas that need more care, add a second layer, as the box suggests.
- Follow with moisturiser.
- Finish with sunscreen every morning: brightening serums only show their best when tone is protected from daily sun.
- If your skin is sensitive, start once a day and patch test first.

- Palmitic and stearic acids are fatty acids, not exfoliants
Is this a strong dark spot serum?
No. It has 3% niacinamide and 0.3% of a vitamin C derivative, both printed on our box. We see it as a hydrating brightening serum for dullness and uneven tone. If dark spots are your main concern and your skin is comfortable with stronger actives, Anua Niacinamide 10 + TXA 4 Serum is more concentrated.
Can I use it with my vitamin C serum?
You don't need both. This already contains a vitamin C derivative, so choose one vitamin C step rather than layering two.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
It can be. The list on our box has no added fragrance, no essential oils, no exfoliating acids and no retinoid, and the vitamin C is a derivative rather than pure ascorbic acid. It does contain rose flower water and shea butter, so patch test first and start once a day if your skin reacts easily.
Is it an anti-ageing serum because it contains bakuchiol?
No. Bakuchiol is one of several supporting ingredients here, and we don't sell this serum for lines or firmness. Choose it for brightness, tone and hydration.
Can I use it in the morning?
Yes. It is designed for morning and evening use. In the morning, follow it with moisturiser and then sunscreen.
