Does it leave a white cast?

SKIN1004 describe it as leaving no white cast, and it uses chemical filters rather than zinc oxide or titanium dioxide. We have not seen enough reliable feedback across deeper skin tones to promise that it looks invisible on everyone.

Can oily skin use it?

It depends on the finish you like. The texture is very light and non-greasy, so many oily and combination skins find it comfortable, but the finish is dewy rather than matte. If you want a matte finish, the Beauty of Joseon Matte Sun Stick is the better choice.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?

Often, yes. There is no fragrance in the listed ingredients, SKIN1004 list it for sensitive skin and our box says it has completed a skin irritation test. That does not mean every reactive skin will be comfortable, so patch test first. If chemical filters are what bother your skin, a mineral sunscreen such as Knours Koolsol Mineral Sunscreen is the better place to start.

Is it water-resistant?

No, it is not labelled water-resistant. Reapply after swimming, sweating or towelling, and at least every two hours outdoors.

How is it different from Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun Aqua-Fresh?

Both are light chemical sunscreens with no fragrance listed. This one has a serum-like feel and a dewy finish, and SKIN1004 list it for sensitive, normal and dry skin. Relief Sun Aqua-Fresh is a watery lotion that Beauty of Joseon position especially for oily and combination skin.
