Does it exfoliate?

Only lightly and physically. There are no exfoliating acids on our box. The textured side gives a light physical exfoliation; the smooth side does not. If friction bothers you, use the smooth side only.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?

It is sold as a calming pad for redness and irritation, which is why we stock it, but it depends on your skin. It contains wintergreen leaf extract, and the textured side adds friction. Patch test first and start with the smooth side.

Can I use it on the nights I use a retinoid or acids?

Yes, that is one of the reasons we chose it. There are no exfoliating acids in it. On those nights, use the smooth side only, so you are not adding friction to an active step.

Will it help with spots?

That is not what we chose it for. It has no blemish-targeting ingredient such as BHA. It helps skin feel calmer and more hydrated, and the quick mask can make a flushed area feel more comfortable.

Is there any fragrance?

No fragrance is listed on our box. It does contain wintergreen leaf extract, so patch test first if you know you react to it.
