• Mornings, as the last skincare step: after moisturiser, before makeup.
• Apply at least 1 ml to your face, neck and any other skin the sun will reach, as d'Alba recommend.
• Blend it well so the pink tone looks even, which d'Alba also advise, including along the jaw onto the neck.
• Reapply at least every two hours outdoors, and after swimming, sweating or towelling. We have seen no water-resistance claim.

How pink is it, and will it suit my skin tone?

It is a tone-up sunscreen, so it is meant to leave a soft pink, brightening tone rather than disappear. d'Alba say it leaves no white cast. We have not seen enough reliable feedback across deeper skin tones to promise it looks natural on everyone. If you want no tint at all, choose an untinted sunscreen.

Can I wear it instead of foundation?

It evens out the look of dullness without full coverage, so it works on days when you want a brighter, more even look rather than coverage. It also sits under makeup if you prefer to wear both.

Does it contain fragrance or essential oils?

Yes. It contains orange, mandarin peel and litsea cubeba oils, plus the fragrance allergens limonene and citral. If you avoid these, Purito Wonder Releaf Centella Daily Sun Lotion has none.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?

It depends on what your skin reacts to. Because of the essential oils, we do not list it as a default choice for sensitive skin. If essential oils are not a trigger for you, patch test first.

Is it a mineral sunscreen?

No. It is a hybrid: titanium dioxide, a mineral filter, works alongside three chemical filters. If you want mineral filters only, Knours Koolsol Mineral Sunscreen is the one to look at.
