Does it leave a white cast?

It can at first. Haruharu say there may be some white cast when you apply it that blends as you massage it in. Zinc oxide is the only filter, so on deeper skin tones some cast may stay visible. Is it suitable for sensitive skin?

It is made with sensitive skin in mind: zinc oxide is the only UV filter, and Haruharu say it has completed clinical tests for sensitive skin and is free of artificial fragrance and drying alcohol. It is a good option if chemical filters sting you. If your skin reacts to many products, patch test first.

Will it suit dry skin?

It depends on your skin. Apply it over your moisturiser, as Haruharu direct; rice bran oil and sodium hyaluronate help keep skin moisturised. The finish is satin rather than dewy, so if your skin is very dry and you like a glowy finish, you may prefer a dewier sunscreen.

Can I wear it under makeup?

Yes. It is designed for daily wear and leaves a satin finish without a sticky or oily residue, Haruharu say. Let it settle for a minute or two before makeup.

Does it contain silicones?

Yes, several, including cyclohexasiloxane and caprylyl methicone. If you avoid silicones, this one is not for you.
