Can oily skin use it?

Usually, yes. Oil dissolves sebum, sunscreen and makeup well, and this one turns milky and rinses away rather than staying on the skin. The important part is emulsifying with water and rinsing thoroughly. If a cleansing oil seems to leave you more congested, stop using it.

Will it get rid of blackheads?

Not on its own. Ma:nyo position it for blackheads, and massaging a little longer around the nose helps loosen oil and build-up so the area can look cleaner. Blackheads and sebaceous filaments refill, so a leave-on exfoliant usually does more for them than a cleanser can.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?

It is not our default choice. It contains lavender, orange peel and tea tree oils, plus limonene and linalool. If you react to essential oils, Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Moisture Deep Cleansing Oil lists none, though it contains macadamia oil.

Can I use it if I have a nut allergy?

No. It contains hazelnut and argan kernel oils. It also contains soybean oil.

Do I need a second cleanser after it?

In the evening, yes, that is how we would use it. The oil removes makeup, sunscreen and oily build-up; a water-based cleanser then takes away what is left. If you have worn no sunscreen or makeup, a water-based cleanser alone may be enough.

Can I use it to remove eye makeup?

Yes. Keep your eyes closed, massage gently over the lashes, and rinse well. Avoid getting it in your eyes.
