Birch Juice Moisturizing Cream (80ml)

• Use as the last step of your skincare, morning and evening.
• Smooth a small amount over face and neck.

• In the morning, follow with sunscreen.
• If your skin is very dry, layer a richer cream on top at night (our suggestion).

Is it rich enough for dry skin?

It depends on how dry your skin is. It is a light cream, so skin that is dehydrated or only slightly dry often finds it enough. Very dry skin will usually want something more cushioning, such as Aestura Atobarrier 365 Cream, at least at night.

Does it have a scent?

Round Lab describe it as unscented, and there is no fragrance or essential oil in the ingredient list on our box.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?

Often, but it depends on your skin. There is no fragrance, essential oil, retinoid or exfoliating acid in the list. It does contain a number of plant extracts, including neem, turmeric, holy basil and lupin seed, so patch test first if plant extracts have bothered you before, and avoid it if you have a lupin allergy.

Will it sit well under sunscreen and makeup?

Yes, that is one of the reasons we chose it: it is light, spreads easily and does not leave a greasy film. Give it a minute to settle before sunscreen.

Can I use it with retinal or exfoliating acids?

Yes. It has no actives of its own to clash with them, so it works as the simple moisturising step on those evenings.
