Does it leave a white cast?

Round Lab describe it as leaving no white cast, and it uses chemical filters rather than zinc oxide or titanium dioxide. We have not seen enough reliable feedback across deeper skin tones to promise that it looks invisible on everyone.

Can oily skin use it?

It depends on the finish you like. It is a moisturising cream with a dewy finish, so it suits normal to dry skin best. If your skin is oily but feels tight or dehydrated, it can work well, especially in colder months. If you want a matte finish, it may feel too rich.

Does it contain fragrance or essential oils?

Round Lab say it has no artificial fragrance, but it does contain Roman chamomile flower oil and pine leaf oil, which are essential oils. If you avoid essential oils, Purito Wonder Releaf Centella Daily Sun Lotion has none.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?

It depends on what your skin reacts to. Because of the two essential oils, we do not list it as a default choice for sensitive skin. If essential oils are not a trigger for you, patch test first. If chemical filters are what bother your skin, a mineral sunscreen such as Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Mineral Relief Daily Sunscreen is the better place to start.

Is it water-resistant?

No, it is not labelled water-resistant. Reapply after swimming, sweating or towel drying, and at least every two hours outdoors.

Can I wear it under makeup?

Yes. It is a cream that sits comfortably under makeup. Let it settle for a minute or two before foundation so the layers don't move.
