Does it leave a white cast?

It uses chemical filters only, so it does not have the white tint that mineral filters can leave, and the reviews we checked mostly report no visible cast. We have not seen enough reliable feedback across deeper skin tones to promise it looks invisible on everyone.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?

Often, but it depends on your skin. Purito made it for sensitive skin, and there is no fragrance or essential oil in the list on our box. Some sensitive skins prefer mineral filters to chemical ones; if that is you, Knours Koolsol Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50 is the alternative we would suggest. Patch test first.

Is it vegan?

Yes. Our box carries the V-Label vegan mark, a third-party certification for the formula. It does not cover animal testing.

Does it contain alcohol?

Our box lists t-butyl alcohol, and cetearyl alcohol, which is a fatty alcohol used for texture. If you avoid all alcohols, it is worth knowing they are there.

Is it water-resistant?

It is not labelled water-resistant, so reapply straight after swimming, heavy sweating or towel drying.

Will it work under makeup?

Yes. It feels like a light moisturiser and dries to a dewy, non-sticky finish. If you prefer a matte base, you may want a mattifying primer or a different sunscreen.
